Agatha Raisin goes into retirement for living in a little and peaceful town at the Cotswolds. There she decides to enter in a Quiche competition.
As she doesn’t know how to cook, she buys a Quiche and presents it as her own but it results to be poisoned and causes the judge’s death.
Though the police decrees that it was an accident, some strange circumstances motivate Agatha to investigate.
This book is the first of a series. It is fast-paced and pleasant.
I thought the story was predictable but it amused me. I liked it to happen in a supposedly peaceful town where everyone knew the others and seemed to be good neighbors.
I didn’t like some aspects of Agatha but I thought that she was smart and strong and I liked that she solved the case of the letal Quiche. I could read more of this series’ books.
I would like to have a little cabin in a peaceful town.
