This trilogy’s main character is Gwendolyn, a girl that has the ability to do time travels. It was supposed that her cousin was the one with that ability, but the surprise was that Gwendolyn not her cousin was the one with that power. With Gideon, another time traveler, Gwendolyn must collect a little blood of each time traveler that has existed in the cronograph. Each time traveler has the name of a precious gem, Gwen is the Ruby and Gideon is the Diamond.
Gwen will have to discover the real reason of Count Saint-Germain interest for the cronograph. And she will hace to decide the people that can be trusted and the ones that can’t be trusted.
I like that the trilogy talks about time travels and that Gwen and Gideon have to dress as in the time where they are going to travel. The idea of a secret group in charge of the training of time travelers and in charge of keeping the cronograph safe is very interesting and exciting.
I think that Xemerius was the funniest and loveliest character.
I didn’t like that Gwendolyn was kind of foolish and that she hadn’t the interest of learning more things. She’s brave and lucky, but she’s really silly. Nevertheless, the story is good and I had fun reading it.
