This is Dylan’s story. She awakens completely alone and in darkness after a train accident. She was going to visit and meet her father.
She looks for another survivor and she finds a young man who tells her that his name is Tristan and that he knows where to go. He wants her to follow him.
Dylan doesn’t know if she must follow him but something pushes her after Tristan and that’s the beginning of their journey.
This book is a retelling of Caronte’s story.
I wanted very much to read this book and it didn’t let me down. It made me think about how would my reaction be if someone told me I’m dead and how would my after life look like.
Well, I liked the story. The place was very original and both characters were interesting, brave and noble. I think they made a good team and a beautiful couple.
There were some times when the story was sad. Being a ferryman, seeing so many souls and failing to save some of them would be very traumatic for me.
Anyway I enjoyed this book. The end made me nervous and I liked it. Definitely I’ll read the next books and I hope that you read them too because they’re worth it.
