Kate had to survive all by herself since she was young. She finds the way to achieve her goals despite having to lie or use people. Her father was a sociopath who left her deep wounds.
Olivia has everything, economically, and a loving father though he’s always traveling. She had a mysterious hospitalization from which she’s still recovering.
Both go to the same high society school where they become friends.
They will have to deal with a new professor, Mark Redkin, handsome and charming but suspicious to Kate.
It’s a fast paced reading.
All the characters have psychological issues and it seems to be normal. I didn’t like them. The worst was Mark, he was very disgusting. The sad thing is that there are people like Mark and his victims in the real world.
At last, I didn’t like the end, besides I didn’t understand it quite well.
