This series main character’s name is Jacinda. She’s a draki, a descendant of dragons who has a human body, but also can transform into a dragon. She has the ability to breathe fire and that’s a rare ability among the drakis, so she’s very special to her community, however the community’s leader, an onyx draki named Severin, wants to use her to breed more drakis like her with his son Cassian, another onyx draki.
Drakis’ communities are located far away from human communities because they’re hunted and delivered to the enkros by families of hunters.
One day, Jacinda and her friend Az decide to break the community’s rules to fly over the forest in broad daylight. They’ll be hunted and Jacinda will meet someone unexpected. From that moment, Jacinda’s life will become complicated and she’ll have to find the ways to help her loved ones and to find happiness with her love, Will.
Ok, I think this is an amusing trilogy that can be read very fast. It’s romantic, but not in an excessive way and it talks about the family’s union and friendship or partnership of unexpected people. I enjoyed it, it kept my attention and I liked the drakis’ diversity.
Jacinda and Tamara (her sister) have their feelings to the surface, so they compete and disagree sometimes, but in the end, they love and support each other. I enjoyed reading that both of them found love.
I liked Cassian’s character and that he proved to be loyal and trustworthy. Will is very brave and he’s full of surprises.
Well, this is an amusing trilogy.
