FBI agent Marie Parks has visions. She can penetrate the mind of killers and victims. This helps her to solve her cases.
In search of a peculiar killer, who seems to have supernatural powers, she’ll know of the existence of a very ancient book, lost long ago, that could reveal a huge lie told by the Church. This lie would test the loyalty of the believers.
I liked this book. The story caught and kept my attention though I think there were some unnecessary parts. It has a lot of intrigue and action. Also some historic facts and chilling scenes.
I have always liked the topic “forbidden books”. It would be very interesting to know how much truth is told in this book. Only curiosity.
The characters are interesting but I didn’t add them to my favorites. However I could continue reading Marie Parks’ stories (there is another book published). Besides the end of this book is an open end and that didn’t make me happy, perhaps the next book has some information of the end though it’s not a direct sequel.
If you’re searching a story to think and experience many emotions, you must read this book but I think it’s not published in english.
