This is the first book in the trilogy.
Galadriel “El” studies at the Scholomance. A school magically created for those who have magic whether they belong to an Enclave or don’t.
Studying there is very dangerous because the school is infested with “Mals”, monsters who want to devour all the children.
And El isn’t welcome by the other students. She’s always being hostile and only a few talk to her, until Orion Lake, the hero of the school, notices her.
For graduating of the Scholomance is necessary to have allies, will El take advantage of Orion’s attention?
I enjoyed a lot this book. When I finished it I continued with the second and then the third.
I liked El despite her capacity to be rude and Orion though sometimes he resisted many abuse.
I found the story very exciting because being at the Scholomance was very dangerous and I liked that topics as rejection or inequality were important.
Finally, I loved that El continued being authentic and strong despite the attention, and the end left me wanting to instantly read the next book.
I hope that you read this book. Very recommended!
