In this book a death contest take place. Most of the contestants are from alien races from other planets. Dr. Stephen Swain is the main character in this story. He and his little daughter will, mysteriously, appear inside the New York’s Public Library and they’ll have to fight for their lives. Dr. Swain was chosen as a contestant, but his daughter should have never appear in the library. There will be some contestants who will break the rules, so, the competition will be exciting.
It’s an amusing book and it’s very easy to read. It has a lot of action and all the alien characters are, perfectly, described. The love between Dr. Swain and his daughter is crucial in the story, perhaps, without it Dr. Swain would have given up. It was very interesting to imagine all the characters and a contest like this.
