Second exciting book of “Apocalypsis Trilogy” in which Peter Adam must prevent the end of the world as we know it.
This time Nicholas, his brother, helps him. They don’t who to trust: the “Bearers of Light” and the Pope or the “Order of the Sacred Sword” and Franz Laurenz, the former Pope.
Both want to find some amulets, made by an ancient culture, that will help them to achieve their goals.
The book tells us the story in different times and places. There are some episodes of ancient history which help us understand the power of the amulets and the Lion Man, and other episodes of Nicholas and Peter’s efforts to save the world.
Honestly, there were times when I got confused with the changes of Peter and Nicholas but at the end everything is explained.
The story continues to be full of action, intrigue, treason, mysticism and demons. It caught my attention since the first book and I was very happy when I found the next ones.
I liked the introduction of Nakashima’s character. He has a lot of money and technology, he’s not religious and he believes in science. In a book with many religious content a character like this is great.
I already have the third book because I want to read the end of this great story. Very recommended!
