It seems that David Gurney can’t stay away of crime and serial killers. There’s something in him that makes him want to investigate whenever there is a difficult case with some things that don’t match.
A bride is bloodily killed the day of her wedding. The principal suspect is the gardener because the bride was killed inside his hut, however, Gurney realizes that some of the evidence isn’t matching. He’ll discover that in the case are taking place some truculent businesses.
It’s a good detective novel, but I liked more the first one. This time, I didn’t like so much the killer and I thought that he was predictable sometimes.
David Gurney continues to be a wonderful character. His life will be in great danger this time.
