I don’t know why this book isn’t published in english. It’s strange, don’t you think?
Well, this is The Analyst’s sequel. Book one is a great thriller.
Dr. Starks managed to save himself from the terrible intents of murder of the two brothers and one sister, Virgil, Merlin and Mister R. Nevertheless, they continued alive too and they cost him everything.
One day of his rebuilt life, Rick finds Mister R. waiting for him in his office. He’s holding a gun in a very menacing way. It seems that Mister R. wants Rick’s help because his siblings had received some threats and he wants to find who’s trying to scare and damage them so he could kill him/her. He promises Rick to let him in peace after receiving his help.
Will it be true that they are in danger? Who would be capable of threaten them? Must Rick help them under threat?
I would have liked the story to be different. I don’t deny that this is an exciting book that catches and maintains the reader’s attention. It has unexpected turns, a very elaborated plan and a surprising end. Each of its characters is profound, the ones we know and the new ones as Charlie, Mrs. Heath and Roxanne. Nevertheless, I expected something different so this isn’t one of my favorite books of the author.
I prefer “The Analyst”.
