J. K. Rowling – Harry Potter.

They’re seven books. Each one of them begin with Harry Potter and… 1- The Sorcerer’s Stone, 2-The Chamber of Secrets, 3-The Prisoner of Azkaban, 4-The Goblet of Fire, 5-The Order of the Phoenix, 6-The Half Blood Prince and 7-The Deathly Hallows.

As the titles say, the main character is a boy named Harry Potter. He’s an orphan because his parents were killed by Lord Voldemort who’s the most terrible dark wizard. Lord Voldemort tried to kill Harry too, but he failed due to the love of Harry’s mother and without knowing it, he shared his powers with Harry leaving in the boys’ forehead a scar shaped like a lightning.

Harry will have to go to Hogwarts, as every wizard or witch, to learn magic. There, he will meet Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. They’ll be his adventure partners and best friends.

Each book comprises one year of Harry’s stay in Hogwarts, his magic’s learning helped by Dumbledore and all the situations and problems he’ll have to deal with for destroying Lord Voldemort. Also, Harry will have to deal with normal teenagers situations, falling in love or being bothered by Draco Malfoy.

This series was very original when it was first published, but for me it’s still original. The idea of a magic world, unknown for most people, captivated me and made me think about the possibility of this world existence.

These books are bewitching and have all kinds of situations, happy ones, sad ones, exciting ones, shameful ones, moving ones or funny ones. I enjoyed so much reading them and I loved the world created by the author.

Lord Voldemort is one of those enemies that make you think they’re dead, but no, he’s alive! Harry will have to do a lot of things to destroy Voldemort.

I like Luna, she’s very original and nice. One of my favorite series.
