Koster has, already, been the main character in another book written by this author, but he’s not the main character of all the books of J. G. Sandom, so I decided that this category was the best for the author.
Joseph Koster is going to search for the “Gospel of Judas”, by request of his old friend Nick Robinson. He has to decipher some codes, written by Benjamin Franklin in one of his diaries, to find the Gospel. Franklin’s diary was, recently, found and its finding aroused the Vatican’s interest because the foundations of christianity will be endangered if the “Gospel of Judas” is found. On the other hand, there’s a machine, named “The God Machine”, that gives you all the knowledge and allows you to see God, which can only be finished by deciphering Franklin’s codes.
Savita Sajan, the creator of the chip C4 and the owner of the company Cimbian, will help Koster in this search, but it won’t be easy because the Vatican has sent a member of “The Knights of Malta” to stop them, this member is a terrible nun named Maria.
This is a very interesting novel, it has a lot of historic and scientific content. It explains a lot about the masons, the creation of the society, their symbols and some historic characters that were part of the society, such as Franklin. All his codes are related with the masonic symbols.
The story kept my attention. The treason, the fights between Koster, Sajan and Sister Maria, and all the decoding process were very exciting. I was dissapointed with the end, even so, I had a good time reading this novel.
