Alex loves monsters, horror movies and books. Also he has a great imagination for writing this kind of stories.
One night, determined to burn his “nightbooks” (the notebooks where he writes) he’s attracted to an unknown apartment by the sound of his favorite horror movie. This is how his own horror story starts.
This book is recommended for 8-12 years old children. It’s of agile reading.
I liked that Alex was very imaginative. I think that the fact that he liked horror and monsters didn’t make him weird or crazy, he was a good boy only with different interests.
Some of his stories were interesting. I found one of them very disturbing, the one of the brothers that slept in a bunk bed.
I wasn’t expecting a turn in the book near the end. It was a nice touch.
To finish, I think this is a good book for children who want to read a scary book.
