This is the exciting final of this series.
There’s great devastation around the world because of the terrible “Hell Spiders”. It’s already known that there are different kinds of spiders and that each wave is more dangerous than the previous one. Also, that they communicate with each other for being coordinated.
Melanie and her team continue investigating but they can’t find a way to kill all the spiders and there’s no much time left.
President Pilgrim is being pressed by some of her advisers who think that she must continue using nuclear bombs, but she disagrees because she thinks that it was enough with the destruction of the previous bombs.
Fortunately, Shotgun and Gordo modify the ST11 and make a discovery that could help them destroy the spiders and save the rest of the world.
This trilogy kept me tense everytime. It was horrible to imagine the sensation of being wrapped in a spider’s web or feeling a spider walking over my hazmat suit.
Maybe the idea of the world ending because of the invasion of ancestral spiders sounds ridiculous, but I think that these books are original, exciting and great. And humanity wouldn’t be prepared for something like this.
It’s true that some people’s reaction in the face of catastrophes is to pass over everyone else for survival. Men always end harming each other.
I didn’t want this trilogy to end, but I enjoyed reading this last book. And I loved that Claymore was always present and safe.
This is one of my favorite trilogies.
