There are immortals in the world. They are magic beings, mostly dark because they obtain their magic from living beings, but there are a few who decide to leave the darkness and learn to control their power without hurting living beings.
Nastasya “Nasty” is one of the dark immortals. She has lived without compromise, only having fun and not allowing herself to feel. Since little she has a mark on her neck that she always covers so that no one could know its meaning.
Her life changes after seeing her good friend, Incy, mercilessly breaking the back of a taxi driver and after noticing him seeing, by mistake, the mark on her neck. Nasty decides to run away and to search for a different way of living in which she could be herself without fear.
I had a great time while reading this book. It made me laugh and smile a lot. I’ve already bought the other two books because I want to know what will happen with Nasty, if her relationship with Reyn will flourish, what will Incy do, among other things.
I consider it a light and amusing reading.
I liked the part of learning from your mistakes, enjoying every moment, accepting that the past is behind and living in the present.
I add it to my favorites. Oh! And I think that Nell was very immature.
