Posy inherits a bookstore which was very famous not so many years ago but at the present has few clients. This inheritance is on the condition that Posy has two years to increase the clients or the bookstore will pass to Sebastian, the presumptuos and rude nephew of the dead owner.
This place is also Posy’s home. She lives there with her brother Sam, so she will try very hard to keep the place running and to increase its sales, but it won’t be easy and Sebastian will be watching.
This is the first book in a series. I don’t think that I will read the next ones because romance isn’t my favorite genre but I have a good opinion of this novel.
I think this is an amusing book. The romance isn’t a drama, it has funny parts.
I didn’t think that Sebastian was an awful person. He made me laugh with his personality and some comments. On the other hand, I thought that Posy overreacted sometimes but I enjoyed her alternate life.
Regarding the bookstore I would prefer it to specialize in thrillers and mysteries. I liked more Sebastian’s idea but it would be interesting to visit a bookstore specialized in romance. Maybe I could find something lovely there.
At last, I want to confess that I didn’t understand Piers Brocklehurst’s motives.
Well, I had a very good time reading this novel and I think that if you like romance, this one could be a good option.
