Anne Rice – The Wolf Gift.

Since I don’t know if I’ll read the other books of the chronicles, I’ve put The Wolf Gift in this category. If I decide to read the other books I’ll change Anne Rice to the series’ category.

Reuben Holding visits an old mansion, that he has always liked, to write an article of it. He meets the owner of this mansion, an older and beautiful woman with whom he’s going to spend the night. Sadly, this woman will be killed this same night by two men that had entered the house. Reuben affirms that he’d saw a huge creature that had killed the two men and saved him. He was bitten by this creature.

After being in the hospital and after the whole police investigation, Reuben is informed that he is the heir of the mansion and he decides to live there. Many disturbing events and changes in the life of Reuben are going to begin.

I liked Reuben’s interest in helping people and the freedom that he feels when he’s a wolf. I thought that his family was very difficult, his father was the most serene of all. And I liked that he had changed his girlfriend and had found a more mature woman.

I’m glad that he had found another wolves that can guide him through his changes.
