Calista is a single young woman who owns an agency for people who feel alone and want to meet new people.
She lives in the victorian epoch so her agency isn’t approved by some people. Every person who wants to be member of the agency is investigated before.
She lives a peaceful life until she begins to receive “memento mori” with her initials carved, and her exboyfriend wants to be part of her life again.
Fortunately, she meets Trent Hastings, a mistery writer, with whom she’ll investigate the identity of the one sending the “memento mori” and why.
I liked this book because of its characters and exciting plot. The romance felt cold and very quick but I liked that the story had its romantic part.
I didn’t expect the killer’s identity and it was very interesting to read the story behind this crazy person.
This is an agile reading book and the story caught my attention. I liked the end.
I’ll possibly read more of the author’s books because I liked her writing.
