Kylee and Brysen are twins. They live in a world were birds of prey and falconry are very important.
Their life hadn’t been easy, their father was very aggressive and their mother is a little bit crazy. They both took charge of the family business when their father died, searching for a ghost eagle, and now the destiny leads them to search the same eagle. Brysen wants the recognition that his father never gave him and to save his boyfriend. Kylee wants to protect her brother, as always.
I didn’t like this world because aggressiveness was everywhere and I didn’t understand why birds of prey were so important, but the story was interesting and I would like to continue reading it. Besides I like the main characters to be siblings and to be so supportive to each other.
In the matter of characters I disliked Dymian since the beginning and I thought that Brysen wasn’t in love with him, he was obsessed.
The Owl Mothers had the potential to be liked by me but they weren’t as I thought.
My favorite characters were Kylee, Nyall and the ghost eagle.
Finally, I think that this book’s worth a try and I’ll look for the next ones.
