This is a compilation of some short stories among which are “The Witness for the Prosecution”, a story where a woman is very clever and she achieves, in a perfect way, what she wanted to achieve; and “The Fourth Man”, this is the story that I liked the most because it made me think in the possibility of two souls living in one body and in the power of suggestion.
I think that in these stories, the psychology is the most important thing along with the manipulation of other people. In the other books that I’ve read of Agatha Christie, the psychology is important, but not in the same way as in these stories; in the other books, the most important thing was to solve a crime and in some of these stories there’s no need to solve crimes.
I like very much Agatha Christie’s writing and thinking. I recommend her books.
